BBC World Service has recently introduced a new weekly basketball feature - World Basketball - within Sportsworld.

BBC World Service was granted online commentary rights of the 2010 FIBA World Championships in Turkey by the International Basketball Federation (FIBA).

Patrick Baumann, Secretary General of FIBA comments:

“We’re very pleased to see basketball receiving such important global exposure as the world’s second most popular sport. The BBC World Service’s coverage has been outstanding and will surely serve the millions of basketball fans around the world in the lead up to the Olympic Games.”

Thanks, Pat. That’s awesome. What’s awesomer is that we’ve been granted the final that we all looked forward to: United States vs. Turkey. The traditional power against the home team. For starters I can tell you that BBC World Service is where you can catch the action, but if I come across a more direct link I’ll be sure to let everyone know. Please lend us your feedback either here or on the Euroleague Adventures Facebook Page. Y’all are the best. It shall be fun.
