NBA Playoffs, Day 10: I don’t care for Carlos Delfino.

Milwauke 111-104 Atlanta: I am from Atlanta. Carlos Delfino is from Argentina. They both start with “A.” The similarities begin and end there. Because while I didn’t miss a single shot in the first three games of the series, Carlos missed 18 of 25. That’s “muy ugly” (Argentinian for “very ugly”). Then game four rolls around, and look who got his Glen Rice on and knocked down 6-8 from behind the arc and 8-14 overall. Uncool, Carlos. Uncool.

Milwaukee

Brandon Jennings: 9-16, 23 points, 4 rebounds, 6 assists, 1 turnover. Yung Whateverthehell has rebounded nicely from an ugly, 3-15 game two.

Carlos Delfino: 8-14 (6-8 3-pt), 22 points, 4 rebounds, 3 assists, 1 turnover, 1 annoyed European basketball blogger. Not that he’ll ever realize how much he hurt me.

Luc Richard Mbah a Moute: 3-9, 10 points, 5 rebounds, 1 assist, 2 turnovers, 5 names

Ersan Ilyasova: 3-6, 11 points, 5 rebounds. Not to mention being included on Sinan Guler’s All-Time Turkish starting five.

Andrew Bogut: DNP - Arm, hand, elbow, wrist, probably something else that I’m forgetting.

Primoz Brezec: DNP-CD

Atlanta

Al Horford: 4-7, 8 points, 8 rebounds, 0 blocks. Averaging 17.5 and 8.5 in two wins, 9 and 5.5 in two losses.

Zaza Pachulia: 1-5, 2 points, 2 rebounds, 1 block

Phoenix 107-88 Portland: Don’t know if the shoulder was to blame, but Nicolas Batum played poorly. Don’t know if his attitude was to blame, but Rudy Fernandez hardly existed. Don’t know if the…uncomfortable benches (?)…were to blame, but Patty Mills didn’t do diddly poo.

Phoenix

Steve Nash: 2-5, 14 points, 10 assists, 5 turnovers, 9-9 FT

Goran Dragic: 1-5, 7 points, 4 rebounds, 5 assists

Leandro Barbosa: 3-11, 7 points, 3 rebounds, 1 assists, 2 steals. What happened tot this guy? Still solid, but he used to be more than that. Or maybe we just thought he would be.

Portland

Nicolas Batum: 1-2, 3 points, 2 rebounds, 1 assist, 2 steals, 1 turnover

Rudy Fernandez: 0-1, 0 points, 1 rebound, 1 assist, 2 turnovers. Woah. Held scoreless twice in his first season as an NBAer, this is the sixth time in his sophomore campaign.

Patty Mills: The only stat he accumulated was a single assist. Only 2:35 of court time, so you can’t be mad at him.

Charlotte 90-99 Orlando: Sweep, sweep, sweep. Now Larry Brown wants to get out of his contract and coach the Sixers. In other news, Larry Brown is still a self-centered asstard.

Boris Diaw: 6-11, 13 points, 5 rebounds, 4 assists. The day is not lost for the French after all.
