We had a little bit of a longer forum podcast this week with In-The-Game.org and Euro-Step.net writer @Rodhig7 (Dimitris).  The focus of the podcast was emerging players and prospects, many of whom shined this summer.  We talked about the play of guys this summer, how that will translate to their club teams, and how their games have developed.  It’s a long podcast (almost two hours) but can be enjoyed in four different doses if you like: European breakout players (First 35 minutes), Inconsistent NBAers (Next 20 minutes), European prospects, (Next 30 minutes), and Greek prospects (Last 30 minutes).

Listen:

1 - 36: We go in-depth on the development and future of young players who broke out at this summer’s Eurobasket. (Alessandro Gentile, Bogdan Bogdanovic , Nehad Djedovic , Zoran Dragic, and Petteri Koponen)

36 - 55: A comparison of three NBA players who had inconsistent Eurobaskets and a look into how they’ll continue to develop in the NBA. (Victor Claver, Donatas Motiejunas, and Jan Vesely)

55 - 1:25: These five prospects are all potential 2014 or 2015 NBA Draft picks who burst out on the junior and sometimes senior national team scene this summer. (Vasilije Micic, Dario Saric, Kenan Sipahi, Kristaps Porzingis, and Domantas Sabonis)

1:25 - 1:49: Overview of the Greek Prospects Aleksandar Vezenkov, Lefteris Bochoridis, Ionnis Papapetrou, and Georgios Papagiannis.

1:49 - 1:55: A quick outlook on the seasons of Kostas Sloukas, Evangelos Mantzaris, Nikos Pappas, and Vlado Jankovic.
