We took a little hiatus right at the point of the season where everything seemed a bit flat… not intentional, but here we are back again as the playoff pressure ratchets up and hind parts start to feel tight. Well, if you’re in Kaunas, Moscow (Region) Athens and Vitoria-Gastiez anyway. Who will you play, homecourt or not? Everything will unfold over the next two weeks.

A EuroLeague double week at this point of the season seems almost cruel on the players and coaches but it means the action never stops, and the ELA pod squad pulled a double shift too:

On Wednesday George and Austin talked up Baskonia’s chances after they blew out Bamberg and CSKA Moscow’s take down of Olympiacos.

Then Friday evening Rob joined Austin for a breakdown of Real Madrid’s narrow win vs a Zalgiris team facing a nightmare stretch-run, PAO squeaking one out at Maccabi and CSKA’s romp home in the Moscow derby. They try to make sense of the crowded scene below the top three clubs all the way down to #8.
