You wouldn’t typically consider a match-up of winless teams Game of the Week material.  Then again, you might not classify JBAM among the world’s elite big men.

It’s time to reconsider, on both counts.

Rytas and Partizan offered us a glimpse at not only the Euroleague’s cellar, but its future: Nemanja Nedovic and Leon Radosevic of Lietuvos Rytas, and Leo Westermann, Dejan Musli, Djordje Gag—you know what?  Might as well just peep the whole roster.  Not exactly bursting with veteran presence.

And then there’s JBAM, who yanked down nine boards in simply 13 minutes of action as his Fightin’ Elan Chalon-Sur-Saones went down to Maccabi 90-61.

You smell garbage time.  I taste an icy cocktail of indomitable will and top drawer talent spiked with a penchant for late game heroics.

JBAMmed.  Not stirred.  This week, next week.  Every week.
